I got mine from Amazon.com.  It came with a small lock & key and I don’t think it will be too noticable to anyone.  Do a Google search for card boxes with locks and you will get alot of results.

I’m hoping to make mine and line the bottom with lead weights.  I figure if it’s 3-4 pounds heavier than sticky fingers expect it’ll be hard to walk off with.  I also plan to construct it in a way that prevents someone from getting into it without a prybar.  I may also figure out a way to bolt it to the table.  I’m probably overly paranoid about this issue, but I figure as long as my guests don’t see my paranoia they won’t be offended.

We’re having a tented reception in a small town where we’re not inviting the whole town.  So it’d be pretty easy for an uninvited town’s person to “attend” the reception and help themselves to our gifts.

Fiance thinks I’m crazy. . but is willing to humor me.

I ordered mine from the site below, and it is absolutely wonderful.  it comes with the key and the top locks, it also allows you to put pics on the outside of it.

It was a little pricy but since I am not a DIY’er I splurged.

@shaydenise: I bought mine off of this website: http://theperfectcardbox.com/

It locks on the top and you can put 8 by 10 pictures in it. I bought mine in the scratch and dent section and saved about twenty or thirty dollars. Plus, I believe they may be running a special where there is free shipping. I got mine with free shipping and I was so siked. The scratch and dent section is definitely something to check out…..there was nothing wrong with mine! A definite bargin. Good luck finding a card box :-).
