Ok so we are going to be seating about half the guests inside and half outside. We don’t expect that to be too much of an issue with the guests overall. Howver, we think people will be upset if they were seated outside during the speeches/first dance etc.
Any ideas on how to accomdate for this in the timeline?

@orangeroses29: Perhaps you could have everyone do their speeches just before you cut your cake and then go right into the first dance? That way everyone will already be in one place in anticipation of the cake cutting and everyone will get to see/hear everything.

@orangeroses29: I went to a wedding that was set up like this, and the couple managed to dance in and out during their first dance (the official dance floor was inside, but they knew everyone would want to see them dance). Is there a set of doors that you can swing open to dance through so that everyone gets a look?
Honestly, I don’t remember who did the speeches at that wedding (the Maid/Matron of Honor has a severe speech impediment and opted not to do a speech) or if there were any at all… Personally, I hate the speeches at weddings unless I know the people giving the speech, so I wouldn’t mind being outside during them. However, I like buckeyebride0906‘s idea of basically just calling everyone in and doing all the big stuff in one go.

@Nostawyn: I think we are leaning towards having the doors open.
