Hello ladies of the hive!
I love the idea of using cupcakes as the centerpiece and I’ve seen some great pictures/got some great ideas from those of you who have gone with that idea. My question for you is this: is it hard for the guests to reach the cupcakes? Perhaps that sounds like a silly question but I don’t want the guests to struggle to reach the center of the table. Did anyone who went with cupcake centerpieces run into this problem?

I’m sorry, but this made me laugh. It’s insane the things we think about as brides. My sister had them at a large baby shower and I don’t remember their being an issue.

@mwitter80 I know, right? 🙂 Perhaps the reach will act as a deterrent to keep our guests from eating the cupcakes before the dinner plates are taken away! Thanks for helping me keep things in perspective.

How big are your tables? I wouldn’t think it would be an issue unless you have really large round tables. 🙂

@ SuperShopper We’ve got 10 people at each table. That’s a pretty standard size, right?

🙂 If I was a guest and couldn’t reach a cupcake while sitting down, I would stand my happy butt up and grab myself a cupcake. My love of cupcakes knows no bounds. Do it up. I will love you for it.

I’m thinking this shouldnt be a problem at all.

Thank you, ladies!! My Mom is in the middle of a move and my girls live all over the country so I feel bad asking them these crazy questions all of the time. This just lifted my spirits!

We had standard round tables that could seat 8-10 people and we did cupcake centerpieces. I didn’t notice anyone having any trouble reaching them. They were pretty gonzo by the end of the night so I’m guessing they worked it out lol
They were such a hit, honestly people are still talking about them and they saved us a fortune!
Here is a picture from our May wedding, sorry it’s so large
