OK, i found the lollipops from a great Canadian company, that is totally within our budget: http://www.thecandytree.ca
Now, the colors don’t exactly jive with our wedding colors, so what i was thinking of doing was cutting out a circle of fabric, wrapping them around the ‘ball’ of the lolli and securing around with a ribbon, and maybe a sweet little saying tag?
Do you bees think i should do them that way, to keep our wedding colors intact, or should i say screw it and have pops of colors on the table.
Our colors are black, ivory and pale pale sky blue.

wrapping the lollipops in fabric is a GREAT idea! You can get fabric in different prints in your wedding colors. Having the different prints/designs will help bring out some dimension to things.
leaving them as is is also okay, it will just make things look a little more casual/fun.

If fabric is too expensive, you could try colored cellophane for a similar effect.

what about some sort of netting fabric? I don’t know if that is what its acutally called, i think its used for organza bags?

Ours didn’t match our colors either. We just tied ribbons around the base that were in our colors. 🙂

As long as they are individually wrapped underneath in plastic (I would hate to be eating cloth fuzz) the fabric idea could work and would look cute. Or you could try a sticker.
