We’re less than 3 weeks away from our wedding day and with this crazy weather we’re concerned we might get rained out.. Our venue has a covered deck we can have the ceremony on if need be but we don’t know what to do about pictures afterwards. Does anyone have any ideas? We were thinking of contacting the Lamplighter or Delta Armouries to see if they’d let us take pics there but otherwise we’re stuck! Our venue is Pine Knot golf course in Dorchester if that helps but we could easily travel back to London or the surrounding area. Thanks in advance!

There is also the old court house and train station in St. Thomas. But to be completely honest trust your photographers!
I got rained out on my wedding day and our photographers (Toogood Studios) were amazing. They took us to the old court house in St. Thomas to take some photos (our ceremony was supposed to be outside in Waterworks park in St. Thomas). And then we took the rest at the Delta Armouries (which was our back up ceremony and reception location).
I am sure your photogs will know of great places you can go to get some great shots!

Our photog isn’t from London, that’s why I’m asking.
Did those places allow you to take pics or did you have to pay a vendor fee? I did some research earlier and there were places in Toronto that were charging $100-150 for pics to be taken at their locations. I don’t know if I should call around and see who would let us come in just for pictures or not

@KarenA: All of the places that we took our pictures at were free!
The hotels might charge you and the old courthouse in London is a wedding venue and may not allow you on the premises due to another wedding but other than that the rest of the places are public.

@FMM: Thanks so much! I love Delta Armouries, that would be my first choice so I’m soooo glad to hear they didn’t charge you

I work at UWO and there are TONS of great places for pics- I suggest Medway-Sydenham Hall, University College, and Windermere Manor. Brescia also has some great spots…
Orrrr what about behind Parkwood Hospital, they have that AWESOME gazebo thing!!

my first suggestion would be the delta but i would call them right away because it apparently books up fast. it’s beautiful for pics. (my dad did all of the stone and brick work during the rebuild)
the art gallery may be another option that is indoors or the civic garden centre or the idlewyld inn.
