I’m so excited for you! My SO and I are 1.5 hours apart and see each other on weekends only (and holidays, which we co-ordinate). We have agreed to start making the preparation to move in together after our holiday in January – and I would LOVE to be engaged by then (it doesn’t make much difference but it feels right for me).

May I ask, was it a difficult decision to decide who would move? What was stopping you both moving and meeting half-way? ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations!

mghnglnn:  This is GREAT news! While my long distance isn’t as lengthy as yours (S.O has been gone this summer on the other side of the country) it is long distance for four months. He was able to fly in and visit me for a few days, and I just drove him to the airport yesterday. We have four more weeks, then he’s back home with me! When you guys move in together, and you get to see him everyday (especially after long distance) it will feel like you can finally breathe again. When S.O and I are long distance for summers (because of internships and such) I always say I feel like I’m holding my breath, and can’t relax. Like I have nothing to look forward to.

You will love this time! ๐Ÿ™‚

YAYYY I bet you are excited!!! My fiance and I only see each other on the weekends. Sure we live 15 minutes from each other but since we are not living together and I can’t stay over at his house until we get married, it feels like long distance sometimes. I’m sooo excited to live with him and marry him, and I still have 10 months left. I’m sure you are beyond excited!!

mghnglnn:  That is so exciting!! My SO and I were long distance of varying distances for almost 4 years and I can remember how exciting it was to finally be in the same town!!! You definitely don’t take time together for granted when you’ve had to spend so much time apart!
