- Wedding: July 2011
If you’ve planned long distance, did you use a full time planner? If so, what did they do for you? I am planning from East Coast to West Coast and thinking about a full-time planner. I know I want a DOC for sure, but I’m not sure if I should extend it.
I am flying to the venue location (also my hometown in Oregon) in July, and planning on meeting with vendors, like photographer, videographer, and DJ. I’m not sure if I will find “the one” while I’m there, but I’m hopeful. Anyway, I’m not sure what else there is other than design, and since I already have a venue that comes with a lot, I’m just a little confused as to what else I will really need a full-time wedding planner to do for me.
I have seen a couple planners who have a “mid-sized” package. Would you recommend that? I plan on coming back to Oregon at least once, if not twice, between now and the wedding (which you can see is a ways away). I’m just not sure if it’s worth the money to have a full-time planner when having just a DOC is 1/3 the price!
Opinions/experiences needed! 🙂 Thanks!
