I know of bees who have similar situations to you.  Hopefully they will post. I know for a fact some of them have been successful!

@MrsHoneyC:  Will he always be away on your FW? You might still have a chance even he is away for 2 to 3 weeks, don’t lose hope yet, see how it works out for you two first.  You never know and GL ;)))

@MrsHoneyC:  Me!! I’m in Virginia, hubby is living on the west coast. That’s a 3 hour time difference and 12 hour travel marathon away. :/  He’s moving here in May, so we figured we’d start TTC a few months before in case it takes a while (this is our first and of course I have an unjustified worry that we’ll have trouble TTC).  Well, last month was our first after pulling the goalie, and despite O-ing while there visiting him (and plenty of libido from not seeing each other for a month πŸ˜‰ ), darned AF came today. Hubby and I will see each other for a week in March and a week in April – hopefully the timing works out – if it doesn’t at least I’ll have a few cycles under my belt and will be well-prepared when we go all-out in May!  πŸ™‚

Best of luck to you! Let me know how things go!

@MrsHoneyC:  We aren’t long distance but I get randomly sent away for work, and he just started a new position that will involve a lot of travel 2 weeks to 3 months at a time!   And it SUCKS cause my cycles are totally irregular and can be anywhere from 35-60 days is normal so I can’t even plan a trip around it.  The last time I had to go away for work, I O’d the day I came home according to FF.  Needless to say I didn’t get pregnant that cycle and it’s just fustrating.  There’s just not much we can do about any of it which is just maddening. I hate having this little control in the outcome of something.

@pinkshoes:

I agree! Further complicating and frustrating an already complicated, frustrating time! Let’s just all plan to get knocked up in March and be done with this game.  πŸ™‚

We’re not TTC yet but Darling Husband is a consultant and travels for work every Monday-Thursday. So at the point we do start TTC in 1-1.5 year, he’ll be gone for half of every single week.

I guess the way I see it, there’s not really anything we can do about so we’re just going to have to go with the flow.  There may be some months where we have little to no chance simply due to when I ovulate vs. his travel schedule but I guess such is life sometimes.

Go luck OP!
