So… Darling Husband and I disagree on whether I look better with long hair or short hair. The first picture is me now. The second picture is from the last time I had long hair, a couple years ago. I’ve never let it grow that long since, because I feel like it looks so plain. I don’t do any hair maintainence. I usually shower at night and then just flat iron it in the am before work, which with short hair takes about 3 minutes. I’ve been planning to get it cut again before the baby comes, but Darling Husband thinks I should take advantage of the hormones and grow it long.

I love the short hair on you. It frames your face beautifully and makes your bone structure look AMAZING!

Short hair for sure! It frames your face! It looks good on you!

I love the short hair, but if you want to make it long, you can always get a cut that makes it look “not so plain” .. you can add layers, or long bangs to frame your face. I think that would look nice as well

I voted short hair but I think the first photo is generally a better one because it’s taken inside, your hair is blow-dried, and the colours are more vibrant. That may effect voting!

@Pia2010: I agree with both of you. I would love to see a longer cut with a bit more shape to it. The way those pictures are, your short hair has much more style to it without a doubt, and looks great! But you look like you have a nice, thick texture to your hair which could do some awesome things with some long layering too!
My man is sooo on the long hair train too, btw. What is it with guys begging us to grow out our hair?! 😛

I say longer hair, but with layers! Perhaps longer hair with some shorter layers in the front. Both look nice, though!

SHORT! It looks great the way that it frames your face.

You look STUNNING in the first picture and congratulations !

I love the short hair but I agree with PP’s that long hair would look nice as well if it is properly cut and layered to take some of the weight off and add some volume.

Thanks everyone! I’ve tried long hair with layers and trying to jazz it up a bit, but my hair is thick and coarse and highly uncooperative the second it reaches my shoulders. I think I’m going to stay short for a while longer.

The short hair just looks so beautiful on you. The long hair because it’s so long like you said makes you look plain. I just love the short hair and hope you stay with that.
