bellabelle12 :  Here’s some information about traveling with cats (by car and plane)

https://www.allfelinehospital.com/traveling-with-your-cat.pml

That being said… here are some important questions:

– Is your crate airline approved? (arrive early to the airport to ensure you can address any issues)

– Do you have the cats chipped/wearing collars? (if your cats get out they will need identification)

– Is your crate labeled w/ you name + phone number? (it should be!)

That being said… there is nothing you can really do now with respect to the 2 cats in 1 carrier. That’s certainly something I would not have done as even friendly besties can get stressed into attacking during travel. Hopefully, it’ll be fine. Good luck

ETA: DO NOT try to change the pads before you reach your final destination. This is going to cause undue stress to the cats. Most cats can hold their urine quite well for 24-48 hours and are unlikely to urinate in their carrier. If you open the door and start moving stuff around in there that is going to be another environmental change they will have to deal with.

I hope that they will be fine for your flight, please keep us updated on their status when you land. Have a good flight!

Good luck! I traveled with my cat from NY to Amsterdam (7 hours) and it was an experience. ๐Ÿ™‚ She gets motion sickness pretty easily so I gave her something from the vet to keep her from throwing up and chilled her out a bit (which seemed to work) but she still cried for a good chunk of the flight. I’ve decided that if I move again either she’s staying here or we are driving her to the destination – no more flights!

But hopefully your cats are much more normal than mine and do great. Best of luck!
