Our wedding is March 22,2013 and I have no idea if the girls should wear long or short! We are getting married outside in Houston. We haven’t completely decided on colors but they will probably be black, white, and a light green or a black and a champagne color of some sort….
The average temperature for March in houston is 59F – 75F. The sun is always out so it isn’t exactly freezing. I have no idea! One day is 110 degrees here the next it’s snowing!
Oh and the reception is inside.
Thank you for your input in advance!

I think you can do either! Maybe long if you’re having a formal wedding.

You could get away with both around that time of year but it is Spring but short would be cool (just a little past the knees).

Yep, I’d say either, depending on the tone of your wedding. If it’s more formal, I’d go long, if it’s less formal go with short! Sounds like either would be great!

Weather wise and you could technically wear either… so like the other Bees have said, I’d make the choice strictly on how formal vs casual you want the feel of your Wedding to be.
Hope this helps,

I’m doing short in December if that makes you feel any better. (though only pics and cocktail hour will be outside, but there will be heaters. It sounds like temperature won’t be too much of an issue for you, though). Even with colder temperature, the BM’s wanted short dressed b/c they liked the look more and felt they would actually wear them again unlike a long dress where occasions to re-wear them would be much more limited.

I’m doing short in February – in Canada!

I think it depends on the formality of your event, but your ladies may be a little chilly in short dresses if it happens to be the low end of that average.

I’m doing short. I couldnt decide so I let my moh pick and she picked short. It was nice to have one less decision to make.

I agree with others, that either will work. I am doing both! I picked the designer, fabric and color, and bm’s picked their own styles. 3 chose long, 2 short.
