I’ve always wanted to have a chapel length veil but I’m not sure it would look good with my dress, so I’m thinking of maybe just getting a fingertip length veil. I LOVE long veils, I think they are so beautiful, I just don’t know if it will look right :/ My grandma is making my veil so I can’t really try it on before I buy it. What do you think bees??? Thanks for the help!!!!
Here’s my dress:

I would do a short one but you should try both on and see which you like better

Can you try one of each on where you bought the dress? I think either would look gorgeous!

Fingertip or elbow length would look great with this dress!

You’ve got a lot going on in your dress, so I’d say a short veil. I wouldn’t want to cover up all the ruffles.

Agree with PPs! I think elbow length would give you a great look without distracting from your dress.
I also really like that your grandma is making your veil… it will be extra-special no matter what length. 🙂

@emtimme: I love that she is too! She used to make wedding dresses for a living and was so disappointed when her arthritis set in making it too painful to sew a lot so she promised to make all the veils for the girls in my family because it won’t be to much work for her.
@Rubbs: Yeah thats what I’m thinking I would hate to take away from my dress, even if it means letting go of a long veil 🙁

BUMP: If you voted for the chapel length, what is your reasoning? I know the pros for a shorter one but I can’t come up with any pros for a long one other than I’ve always wanted one lol. So if you got pros let me hear em!!!
