You could look into getting or making a long-sleeved overdress/topper to wear with a sleeveless gown. I did something along those lines by combining pieces from two different gowns:

Sleeves are a pain – I wanted a cap sleeve and even that was an head ache! But what about Augusta Jones, Elle?

Or this one if you want something simple? And I think this Rose Clara is lovely if you’re a Grace Kelly fan – just a pity it’s expensive:

Gown features lace jacket.

Good luck!

Justin Alexander does a lovely one:

Though I don’t know how he translates into Uk prices. I believe his dresses are around the $2-3k mark USD, so that should be equivalent to your budget, buI I’ve heard that UK prices can be as ridiculous as Australian ones, which is no mean feat.

I got my sleeves custom made on a Casablanca dress. Casablanca does custom changes to basically any dress. It is an extra charge, but you can find very inexpensive or on sale Casablanca dresses. My original dress was about $900 on sale, and then about $1500 with all the custom changes. I did a lot though – I changed the entire silhouette and skirt and then added a fully lined neckline with sleeves. Just sleeves is probably a lot cheaper.

Try looking at Ellis Bridals. They have a good number of long sleeved wedding gowns, and their prices are pretty affordable, starting at £750.

You can try http://www.tulipbridal.com and order a bolero, like me! I’m wearing sleeves at my ceremony and strapless at the reception
