You could get stems of grocery store flowers, all the same, and simply insert them into plain vases, glasses or wine bottles and run them down the tablescape.

This tablescape is simply designed but has a strong impact because of the repeating pattern. Stems of white dendrobium leaning out of clear rectangular vases. It's so pure looking.

Go for it! They will see a fancy table the next night. 

I think wine bottles (MAYBE a few candles) looks great.  You could also put pictures or something if you’re really worried about it.  Everyone loves pictures!

My cousin gave us the idea of doing picture frames.  I thought that was a pretty good idea.

@S2013:  what about just tons of candlelight, vases, etc……you can get candles very cheap at the dollar tree.

I ran across this recently and I think it’s beautiful….maybe you can try to round up bottles of varying sizes. It creates such beautiful visual interest and the candle light makes it so romantic!
