So apparently I’m an idiot and I haven’t booked my reheasal dinner. TBH thought my dad was doing it but hey! It’s less than 5 weeks away… Way to go! I am having the hardest time finding somewhere to accomodate because it’s Valentine’s Day weekend and most the restuarants around here don’t take reservations. Anyway I had the brilliant idea of contacting the hotel I’m having my wedding at to see if they have any rooms available and they do! Brilliant! Except I’m left with a blank room. Just white table cloths, and chairs. I really really don’t want to do centerpieces (I hated doin them for the wedding night.. I am not doing ANYMORE) and am looking for inspiration shots of really REALLY simple centerpieces on long tables..
I’m thinking maybe votive candles and sprinkled florals very lightly. ? Not sure..
Or, no centerpieces at all, like found on this blog:
Any inspiration photos?

You could get stems of grocery store flowers, all the same, and simply insert them into plain vases, glasses or wine bottles and run them down the tablescape.

Go for it! They will see a fancy table the next night.
I think wine bottles (MAYBE a few candles) looks great. You could also put pictures or something if you’re really worried about it. Everyone loves pictures!

My cousin gave us the idea of doing picture frames. I thought that was a pretty good idea.

@S2013: what about just tons of candlelight, vases, etc……you can get candles very cheap at the dollar tree.
I ran across this recently and I think it’s beautiful….maybe you can try to round up bottles of varying sizes. It creates such beautiful visual interest and the candle light makes it so romantic!
