Make sure you keep it clean. My soon to be sister-in-law, has a beautiful morganite halo and keeping it clean makes a HUGE difference in the appearance and color. I always use warm water and a soft toothbrush (baby toothbrush) on my rings. If there are small tight spaces you might want to try the special Dr. Browns bottle brushes. The bottle brushes are tiny and work well to clean small stones and spaces on a ring, like filigree work or an ornate gallery.
