I bought this dress…when it’s on I’m sure it’s the one, but the second I take it off I start having doubts again. What are your honest opinions of this dress? unfortunately I dont have a picture of me in it but for some perspective of what it will look like I am 5’5″ and 105lbs. I will wear heels though to be taller..probably about 3″. Oh, I am also having a modesty piece sewn in so it wont be see through in the bust anymore.

I really love that the dress is classic and feminine. It reminds me of my own dress in a way! However, as it is shown in the photo, something extra is needed. I usually don’t like COLORED sashes, but maybe a blingy/ivory sash would bring something unique to the ensemble. Also the model’s hair isn’t styled and she isn’t wearing any statement jewelery, so that might make it look simple. I love it, but like I said you should add something to the ensemble to make it YOURS. 🙂

I bet I know exactly what feeling you’re talking about with it! I chose my dress this weekend, and when I look at the model picture I’m like “ugh!” but when I put it on, I think “wow!” Even when I look at pictures from the salon, I’m like “hmmm..” but then I look at the close-up pictures of the lace/beading and I fall in love again.
Only one of those situations matters – the one where you’re wearing it! Pictures don’t always capture the details that we love – whether it’s the intricate beading or lace, or the way it hugs our waist just right. DON’T DOUBT IT, KEEP LOVING IT! 🙂

@aggie2010: You are so right! the picture doesn’t do it justice, in real life it is so sparkly and feminine and there is just something kind of “magical” about it! I put it on and everything changes haha…like cinderella! lol

Dresses always look better on and in person. Just looking at pictures or on the hanger does it no justice. Somebody told me when I picked my dress that it was the right decision for me at the time and to stick with that decision. There are so many dresses out there and it is so easy to get dress regret. But it just will weigh you down with emotion! Dont worry about it, it is a beautiful dress! And it makes you happy. Thats whats most important! And when you get all dolled up on the wedding day, the dress will look even better! Good luck!

Model pictures scan sometimes be terribly deceiving. If you love the dress on, try not to let he pic convince you otherwise!
