haha i’ve been engaged for almost a year and have so far Booked our venue (for ceremony & reception), and our photographer. LOL. Future Mother-In-Law is a wedding officiant so she’s gunna take care of all that legal mumbo jumbo for free and we can have anyone we want do the ceremony so long as she is the one who signs our marriage license.
I have tried on a boat load of wedding dresses tho and pretty much picked one. But my wed. isn’t til Oct. 2014 so I’m a little reluctant to commit this early.
This summer tho, the DJ is on the list and maybe try and hammer a few other things out too
Good for you for being so proactive!!!

I thought, Hey. While I have time to actually breathe (with school, work, FI’s military training, etc.) let’s get this thing done.
Phew. That felt good! I love lists. 🙂

Congratulations – you’re way ahead of the game!
I didn’t start planning until 6 months before the day, which was 11 months after I became engaged.
