I’m interested in this, too. Maybe you or someone you know could replace a ribbon with hook and eye?

The rhinstone belt I picked for my dress has a long sash tie up. I disliked it because it blocked the view of the back of the dress. so the seamstress is going to remove all the excess sash and sew it right at the seams at the sides of the dress.

its an option if you dont mind the belt being permanent.

I agree- find one you like then bring it to a seamstress for her to change it.

I couldn’t find a sash for my dress that I liked, so I bought some fabric in the color and material I wanted and brought it to the seamstress who did my dress alterations for her to make into a hook-and-eye belt for my dress. It only cost $15.
