- Wedding: June 2010
we are getting married outside in my sisters gorgeous backyard on the water. the wedding party will come out of my sisters hoouse. There is a grand staircase that splits and meets at the bottom so its perfect for the bridal party. I would love to surprise my Fiance and enter the back yard in some unexpected way. Her driveway actually runs along side the house and circles around a huge tree to go back up to the street so this can be utilized if need be. While I absolutely love seeing the bridal party dance their way up to the ceremony area, I am not really wanting to do that. Any other ideas? I thought of using the antique caddie that was my grandfathers when he was alive but now my brother has it. I thought it could be fun to not tell anyone except the necessary few, that I will not come out the back door like everyone else. Instead I could have my brother drive me, my 8 year old son (he is walking me down the aisle), my 12 year old daughter (she is my MOH) and my two neices who are my flower girls. The flower girls could get out first, then my Maid/Matron of Honor, then my son with me on his little arm. What do you guys think? The cadilac is special not just because it was my grandfathers but also because he drove each of his children in it on their wedding days. Thanks guys!
