@honeybear4 – our primary wedding color was fuchsia and then I chose to do an ombre color scheme….any variation of fuchsia and pink and cream and white…..we got married two weeks ago in Jamaica, so the colors were great for the tropical climate.

You should check out the Knot and Marth Stewart Wedding’s websites – they have lots of ideas for color schemes.

What about navy? It’s not black but it still tames the super vibrant tutti frutti and it’s not as girly as an all pink wedding. I think a dove gray would be really beautiful as well.

If your groom is ok with it, pink ombre as kristiew417 suggested can be really pretty.

You could go with a spectrum of pinks, or you could accent with a charmeuse or apple green. I imagine lavender would be nice. Maybe silver or champagne?

I know you posted this 2 years ago but I’m having a similar issue! What did you end up going witH? My BMs are in long knit chiffon from dessy in tutti frutti and We really don’t want to do black suits. My fiance prefers a bright navy colored suit (I think they call it “royal blue” but it’s more navy). I cannot decide if it’ll look too patriotic, since the tutti frutti color tends to look red sometimes! I wanted to do a lot of greens for the bouquets, but I am worried about the Christmasy look there too : ( Would love to see what you chose for your wedding – PLEASE message me!!! We are getting married August 9 and have to make a million decisions still…Thanks!

There are websites that can help choosing color palettes.

http://www.theperfetpalette.com   scroll down on the right, click on the color you have chosen and you will see all the palettes they have developed using that color.

See this post<br />http://www.theperfectpalette.com/2014/06/bright-flamingos-and-exotic-palms.html

You will note that the groom in this shoot is wearing  grey/brown pants.

If you keep the greens equally bright, it will not look like Christmas, it will look bright and sunmmery.

I think the men could wear navy, black, khaki ,grey or charcoal suits and all would look great.

This is one pic I found of the bridal party wearing tutti frutti dresses and the guys in dark suits.

Do you have a pic of the “royal blue” suits? It is a bit of an unusual choice for a man’s suit.

I’d do something like the hot pink with muted pinks and creams. I also like this a lot

https://www.hubub.com/133529/155553 – notice everything is muted in the colour scheme but the pink (the cream the purple the blue) but it is mostly a pink and cream combo

It just depends on the look you are going for.  I think peach would be pretty, but I would be tempted to pair it with navy (that would be elegent).
