I’m an almost twin too. I’m July 19th. I have pretty much everything big planned… at least booked. Right now I’m working on planning the ceremony with the officiant and finding my Fiance a wedding band. He is being pickier than I was! After the ceremony is planned, we can start working on the programs. We know what our favors are, but we need to do some printing and put them together. We are also working on our “must play” list for the DJ. I don’t think you need to panic yet, but definitely get working on those things. I’ve been using a checklist on weddingwire and it really helped me to keep on track and feel less stress.
I’m dying to get out RSVP’s back! We just sent ours out 9 days ago, but we have 50 confirmed people. We invited 217. I am guessing we will have a big wave of them, then it will stop until closer to the “due date.”

Date twin here! I’ve got most of the big stuff done (dress, venue, vendors, etch) done. I sent out my invitations but the mail truck that was carrying them had a gas leak, caught fire, and burned every single one of them! What’s the chances of that, right? I was devastated, but I’ve ordered new ones (big thanks to my invitation vendors, they are AWESOME) so I should be sending out the new ones within a week. Now we are just down to details. I have my flowers picked out and going back and forth with a couple ideas for the centerpieces (just what to put on the table around the flowers). I’ve got my favors, sparklers for our grand exit, etc. we are doing a backyard cookout for the rehearsal dinner. For the most part, I just have to work on details for the actual ceremony (timeline, decorations, and finish writing out vows….or at least get FH to write his lol!)

We haven’t heard back from about 1/2 our guest as well.
However, we’ve received a few unique RSVP cards back in that some people have neglected to send in their stamped postcard and resorted to emailing us or our parents that they will/will not be in attendence. I had a few other people ‘buddy’ up and send us multiple couples on the same RSVP card. I find that so odd…..
I just had my first fitting yesterday, and man, they should really give you a warning about the cost of alterations. Things are slowly coming together.

Date twin here!
I sent out 45 invitations for 83 people and have 23 confirmed yeses so far. My date is also June 20th so yep, I think your response rate is fairly standard!
My first fitting is Monday. I am a bit panicky about the cost of alterations because I’ve heard horror stories about my dress supplier (Raffaele Ciuca). However, I think mine only needs taking in around the chest area so fingers crossed it’s not too expensive!

@peche: It’s hard to believe I’m getting anxiety! Lol

@peche: eeeeee! (that was a happy squeel) What venue are you at?
I still never heard back from 2 guests, couldn’t get a hold of them (they are international, so emails were sent, but they never responded). AND, my uncle RSVP’d to me yes and told my mom yes last month. He came to visit my grandma on MONDAY and gave her a gift because he told her he’s not coming. Never called me, never called my mom. BAH. I had to have my numbers in on Monday, but I found out last night. I emailed my venue and hopefully they let me take one off.
eeeeee! It’s so close I can taste it!

Good luck bees! It’s getting close.
Not a date twin but close enough. Ours is on the 24th. I don’t seem to have a twin around here.
