After recently surviving cancer and being told that we wouldn’t be able to conceive, my fiancee and I found out that we are about seven weeks along. With that said, we are keeping our April 2, 2011 date and are incredibly exicted to include our baby – which will be six months along – into the wedding. (So far everything is good with the pregnancy and we are keeping our fingers crossed getting through the first trimester.)
I am kinda bummed that there are so many people that are so against having a baby bump at their wedding. It’s really hard to find anything on-line about pregnant brides or maternity bridal websites which is why I am starting my post here. I do hope to get some helpful feedback on this post. I guess for me, because it has been so hard to conceive and now having a miracle that I really appreciate all of this and my fiancee is even more excited to not only have the baby included but seeing me walk down the aisle preggie too. (Yes, I am blessed with having the coolest fiancee who is excited and with me 110%! LOL!) I figure we are getting married anyhow and since we already sent the save the dates, it just gives more to celebrate. It was a pleasant “bump” in the road to our wedding planning. 😀
Again, advice, suggestions, etc. is very welcome. (I have had 24-7 morning sickness for the past three weeks so at least I know that gaining weight this first trimester won’t happen. 😛 )

I’ll be 6.5 months along as well. I’ve ordered the Taryn gown from Jcrew and am not sure if I’ll keep it. I’ too have only lost weight up until this point, but order a few sizes larger because the lining is a little more tight fitting than I expected. I don’t know if you want to wait, but they have a lot of sales, I just got mine 25% off, so it was only about $300.
I’ve also talked to etsy seller Amanda Archer and she’s done her dresses as maternity dresses before and can send you a link to an example. Her dresses are really affordable as well.
There is another site Maternity Bride
Let me know what you find out as well! I’m still on the hunt, but am trying to stick to off the rack stuff. Congrats!

I was going to recommend maternity bride or even check Alfred Angelo as he has many maternity bridesmaids’ dresses & maybe one of those would work?
Congrats on your little bundle and good luck with your dress!

Congrats! My first advice is to either buy the dress somewhere that has an alterations team you can trust, or find a really good tailor. Your body will change fast around 6 months and you’ll need someone to fit the dress as close to the wedding as possible.
I have seen Nicole Miller’s maternity bridal collections and think that they are lovely. David’s Bridal also has maternity Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, and most come in ivory.

First of all congrats!!
Do you like chiffon? Maggie Sottero has some beautiful destination wedding gowns, that would be very comfy.

Just wanted to remind you that no solicitations are allowed on the board. I edited the post to reflect that.
