Givenchy Photo Perfexion. Hands down the best foundation I’ve ever used. I actually caught myself admiring my skin one day… And that has NEVER happened!

Liquid foundation tend to make me itchy for some reason so I rarely use those.  My vote is for Bare Minerals.  For me it lasts all day and looks luminous, but it is a bit pricey.

Most days I just use a concealer (Boing by Benefit) to cover undereye circles, blemish scars, nose capillaries etc and then set it with a fine powder. But I also really like my Make Up Forever foundation for when i need all day/night coverage. Its not cakey and for an even more easy application, I sometimes mix it with a bit of moisturizer. Its also a great idea to invest in a base primer if you have areas that tend to get oily and cause makeup to “slide” off. I use StudioGear but honestly Monistat Chafing Gel has the exact same ingredients and is MUCH cheaper lol.

I hate foundation, it makes me feel like my face can’t breathe…but once in a while if my skin isn’t lookin that great I use Arbonne. It’s all vegan and natural as it gets I believe, and it feels so light on your face. I went to anatural skin place for needling on a scar and she tried to sell me on all her products. When I told her I had Arbonne she said well, thats not perfect but it’s as natural as it gets for products out there. I think because it doesn’t have all those chemicals in it, it doesn’t feel cakey. It also lasts all day for me.

im an assistant to a makeup artist so have gotten to use many different kinds. honestly a great one is revlon color stay. apply it with a beauty blender for a flawless look (walmart and ulta have awesome ones for under $5) and use a setting powder in the areas you tend to get shiny and to set the makeup—very lightly. I like rice powder or makeup forever hd powder but VERY LIGHT HANDED with the makeup forever. then use a setting spray to make it last all day/night.

@DawnaN:

+1. For an even more natural finish, the colorstay whipped creme.is great. It’s slightly less matte imo but still lasts.

@elledean82:  I vote for Bare Minerals too.  I’m really surprised that it lasts all day, but it does!  I was using Mac foundation for awhile, but I reallllly prefer Bare Minerals.  So natural looking, not cakey, and good, even coverage 🙂  But yes, a bit pricey.

@elledean82:  I love bare minerals!! Love love love!!

Also, almay if you’re on a budget. They have a clear complexion compact that’s white and I really like it.

Bobbi Brown’s Foundation Stick – you can build coverage as much as you want, it’s great for photography and feels nice on, especially if I use my hands/fingers to work the foundation into my skin.
