The one we bought is so incredibly comfortable that it made me look past the fact that it wasn’t affordable. We paid way more than I wanted, but it’s so worth it. And it’ll be a chair we can use in another room later on. It reclines, glides and has a lever that lets you lock it in place like a regular arm chair.

Try going to babies r us or a similar store and trying some out, they have a pretty good selection and decent prices too.

I bought a leather recliner that rocks. Right now I’ve seen stores selling them for 50-70% off because of the after holiday sales. Something to think about if you don’t want the typical baby glider.

I didn’t want to spend much on this so we got a glider from like target for literally $100 and its perfectly fine…. I don’t understand why the good ones are over $400! I’m sure they’re comfier but if I need comfort I head to tHe couch with my lo 🙂

@MrsCofer:  It’s a Dutailier Intermezzo. Although, our babies r us (Canada) just got a similar style for much less and it is also very comfortable. I was actually pretty mad that they only started carrying it after we bought ours (floor model, no return) because I would have settled for less comfort in order to save some money.
