There are some cute B&Bs in Havre de Grace, MD. It’s a fun little town right on a river. DH and I got married there at a B&B called the Vandiver Inn and we loved it. It’s an old mansion with a few separate houses.

The Inn at Montchanin Village.  Beautiful area and Winterthur is very close by, which is stunning at the holidays.  Longwood Gardens is also very close, which is a can’t miss either.

Posting to look back at this thread.  FI and I are in PA, too, and have been looking around for some unique places to stay.  🙂

Word of caution on going to AC.  Remember they were hit horribly hard by Sandy.  I know the casinos just reopened at the end of last week, however, there is devastation throughout the town.  Check livingsocial. com or groupon.com for some great local deals on B&B’s.

If you’re on a budget, try Groupon or LivingSocial! We just stayed at Sandaway Bay in Oxford, MD, and it was amazing! We had a livingsocial voucher two nights for $200, and it even included breakfast in the mornings. I know they have recurring deals for Sandaway, but there are also a ton of others to chose from. Good luck!

Also posting to save this thread. We will be moving to the area soon.

We had an enjoyable time at the Burgundy Lane b&b in Waynesboro PA (near the MD border) if anyone is still looking for suggestions! We stayed there while visiting Gettysburg.
