Hi everyone, I have been struggling with finding a dress. I had been avoiding ball gowns until I tried on BHLDN’s Rowena gown (link: https://www.bhldn.com/product/rowena-gown) on a whim, and I loved it. The top of the dress didn’t feel quite right, though, but now I can’t stop thinking about a tulle ball gown.
I love Hayley Paige’s Harmony gown (link: https://www.theknot.com/fashion/harmony-1659-blush-by-hayley-paige-wedding-dress) but was hoping to stay under a $2000 budget. I love the illusion and the back of the Harmony gown and the tiered skirt of the Rowena gown and was wondering if anyone knew of any similar gowns within my budget.
Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help out!

Have you tried on the Hayley Paige gown at all?
Wondering if you could buy a strapless tulle ballgown and recreate the illusion front and back draping with extra fabric and clever alterations. Now… where you find a strapless tulle ballgown I’m not sure. But I’ll look…

Another similar option would be to buy a fun tulle overskirt.
Did you want to avoid lace because there are a few options with lace tops…

Hi! My Morilee ballgown was $1399. Have you looked at Morilee dresses?

Why don’t you try finding a top and skirt to make up a two piece. Might be easier (and cheaper) to find skirt and tops that you like separately. Etsy would be a good shout for separates. Or BHLDN for tops etc

Try liberty and lace. They sell bridal seperates and you can mix and match, similar to how bhldn is structured. I believe they are a touch cheaper as well. I also think you can order the seperates you like as a try on box where they ship it to your house for you to see what looks best on you. There’s a bunch of companies that have a similar “try on at home” program. Or like someone mentioned above, Etsy is a great place to look, tons of affordable things on there that may match your needs.

Maybe Kenneth Winston Ella Rosa be470?
They have a few things that might be similar to what you’re looking for. I don’t know the exact price, but my Ella Rosa gown (BE449) was $1100 CAD so they should be in your budget.

Try Casablanca as well. I tried one on in the bridal store and ended up falling in love with it. It costed $1200 CAD.
