Ok ok…so I grew up close the Margate and Summit. Not really an option for me. I am looking for something really beautiful, we would love the White Mountains (where we got engaged), but I would be super happy to be married on Lake Winni. Not that Im surprised, but everything seems to be SUPER expensive (80-150/person) just for catering. Are there any New Husband bees, looking for (or already found) a great venue up here? Our budget is around 9K for the catering and venue fees. I did find the Indian Head Resort which seems pretty reasonable and very nice….anything else??

BOSOXfan07: Hi there, I’m not sure if this is near you, but I went to a wedding at a beautiful place called Promises to Keep in Derry, New Husband. http://www.promisesnh.com/

BOSOXfan07: I’m from New Hampshire, and looked around that area and really did not find much in my budget. 🙁 Since we’re in the SE part of New Husband, I ended up picking a venue in Mass, which is probably way too far for you. How big is your radius? I went through my old doc of venue links and here are some in New Husband you could check out.
This one is pretty close to you, I think, but the site is blocked at my work right now so I can’t remember how much the cost is:

Oh, and I got a lot more details about pricing and things for places that didn’t list it up front from this site: http://anewenglandwedding.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-last-of-wedding-venues-part-2 .html (I think this might take you to The Fells info). You might browse her site to see if there are any others nearby, too! It’s *slightly* out of date so some things may have changed.

How about the Wolfboro Inn? My friend’s brother got married there years ago. Lovely spot right on Lake Winni-plus you can arrive by boat! 🙂
