    @angelalsmith3:  search excellence resorts. They have two in Mexico. I recommend them.

    @angelalsmith3:

    Yay for Wisconsin Brides!  Congrats!

    We spend about three to four weeks in Florida every year.  There is so much stuff to do there!!!  We usually stay in Naples and Marco Island because of the wonderful shopping, food, and beaches!!!  You can take a boat to key west and stay there for just the day or overnight.  The everglades are amazing and we love going on the airboat rides!

    @angelalsmith3:  nope they one I went to (Riveria maya) was adult only but very laid back and chill. Though it is all inclusive so there are plenty of drinks to be had.

    @angelalsmith3:  i think an all-inclusive is the best way to go.  if you want affordability, mexico, dominican republic or cuba are the best bang for your buck.  i guess cuba is out of the running for you.

    punta cana has a gorgeous beach and not far from the airport.  i’ve been many times and would strongly suggest the majestic.

    cancun and riviera maya are wonderful too.  i personally prefer just south of cancun.  the resorts are newer, the beaches are great, the location is ideal to everything and it’s a bit quieter.  we have a house just 3 hours from there and spend a lot of time in that area.  we’ve been to numerous resorts.

    I can’t do cruises (serious cabin fever!!). I’m going to suggest–and I know it seems crazy: Thailand.

    Actually getting there is pricey. But once you’re there, holy moly. It pays for itself. A friend stayed at a five-star hotel where veryone got their own infinity pool balcony for something crazy like $80/night and lived on $40/day eating and drinking to their fill!

    DH and I spent almost a month (January) in the north island of New Zealand. Totally amazing! Weather was very warm most days, towards the end it got awfully hot in Auckland. We rented a car and explored many cities and drove up to the tip of the island, lots of beautiful beaches and everyone is so so so nice.

    @angelalsmith3:  it’s an all-inclusive resort on a beautiful beach.  they have an adults only side too.  the food and service was the best i’ve had in punta cana.
