So I’m looking for a venue in Washington State. We know that we want it in Western WA and that we don’t want it in a city venue. We’ve been looking around and are having issues finding an affordable place. We’re looking for a log cabin sort of venue.
We saw Lake Quinault Lodge and loved it. We’re waiting back for quotes on that. I emailed Fireseed Catering and Bella Luna Farms and they are way outside of our price range. Salish Lodge is out because the groom’s first wedding was there and that would be wierd. I’ve also been to Wallace Falls for another wedding and it was lovely, but I don’t want to take the same venue 🙂
So, any thoughts?

I got married at Kistap Memorial State Park. I highly recommend it.

We are getting married at Floral Hall in Everett. It’s located inside Forest Park. Not much to look at from the outside, but the inside has that rustic, log cabin feel you are looking for! And very reasonably priced, compared to other venues.

Those are all gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
After careful consideration (and about nine million websites) we decided to go with our first choice, Lake Quinault Lodge. It’s great because my fiance proposed out at Seabrook on the coast. And two days later we went to Quinault.

@taraesque: A friend was at the Lodge last year for a weekend getaway and couldn’t stop raving about it! She posted a few photos to instagram and I’ve been wanting to visit ever since.
I was going to suggest a place in Issaquah another friend told me about. It’s called Treehouse Point, if anyone else finds this and is looking for something similar.

My engagement party was at Anthony’s down in Olympia. It was beautiful and I think has better service than the ones in the bigger cities.
