Why not have the ceremony at a park or even backyard with a big old tree then move the the venue for the reception?

Belmont Country Club in Ashburn has an oak (I think an oak) outside where they do cermonies.  It isn’t giant, yet, but gets bigger every year.  It’s also landscaped really well around it. We had our reception there in October, and I highly recommend them.

It doesn’t have a large oak, but it is beautifully landscaped and had koi ponds. Have you looked at 2941 Restaurant?

PS- the food is amazing!!

I just saw some picture of the Gaylord at National Harbor. From what I remember the minimum was alot, but it might be perfect for what you are looking for–a grove of trees, but indoors.

Have you checked out Whitehall Manor? I can’t remember what types of trees they had exactly, but I do remember falling in love with their grounds (and the tree swing).
