What about a pearl belt, I think it’ll look a bit more romantic and subtle. I love this one from etsy.

@wordlover85:  I think it looks great with it for what it’s worth! What aren’t you sure about?

@wordlover85:  I love that belt! In fact I tried it (or something very similar) on with my lace dress.  I think it adds a little bit of bling πŸ™‚ I didn’t end up getting it because it was out of my budget though πŸ™

Maybe seeing it on someone else will give you a different opinion?

@wordlover85:  I agree your day to go all out! I like that it’s blingy and stands out. It also defines your waist perfectly!

Dont drive yourself nuts studying the pics…. Try to rem how you felt wearing it! This comes from someone who drove herself nuts looking at pics of myself in my dress…. Trying to find things wrong! You look Lovely and my vote is not to change a thing πŸ™‚

I’m going to go against the grain here…

I like the idea of a belt with your dress (which is gorgeous, BTW), but I’m not a fan of that particular belt. It’s pretty, but it looks too heavy/bulky for the delicate lace of your dress.

From your photo, you look like you have a slightly short torso (I do too) and I’ve found that a slim belt is more flattering than a wide belt. Maybe something a bit thinner with bling all the way around?

i bought my belt on etsy bc i too didn’t like the one that came with my gown…. the shop was called “something ivory” the owner was great.  she did a special request for my order and it came out exactly as i had wanted.  i don’t dislike your sash at all, but i think if you have a glitter of regret with it, then go ahead and buy another. you can always sell one or both of them later on.
