My fiance and I have always been really open with what we want. I know for sure I want a marquise cut ring and have came down to 2 options, and I am looking for other women’s opinions if possible (for example ones who have moissys and why, benefits one over the other). I found a 1/2 ct diamond white gold ring and a 1.3 ct moissy ring in white gold. I love them both to be honest. And we purchased both, I have until April 10th to return the one I do not want. I have worn them both out and about, and still cannot decide. This is much harder than I thought!
Thanks a bunch for your help!

I think it just depends on which design you like better. Personally I prefer the design of the second ring (however, I’m biased since my ring looks very similar, but with a round brilliant moissy). I also prefer the sparkle of a moissy to that of a diamond, but again, this is personal.

I would get the diamond because fancy cuts in moissanite are way too yellow tinged for my liking.

@BlondeMissMolly: +1, my thoughts exactly

I was thinking the moissy looked yellow too! – Get the diamond! (I’m not a diamond snob – I think moissy’s are really beautiful, but the photo looks super yellow.)

I prefer the style and size of the moissy ring…and I personnaly like the warmth a stone can have. It’s pretty neat you tried both rings before deciding! Which are you slightly more inclined towards?…

I think the diamond looks so much nicer in this cut. The moissy looks cloudy/yellow to me.

I don’t like the setting the diamond is in but I don’t LOVE the moissy stone. Can you use the moissy setting for the diamond? That would be perfect IMO

Well lady-bees 🙂 I really love the moissy one and I realize this pic came out pretty yellow :O So i am taking another one and posting it. I like the diamond as well, it is a vintage setting, but to be honest not as much as I like the moissy over all in size, comfort etc. Ok so still torn, not really sure what I am going to do yet and tick tock goes the clock, agh!
