Hello fellow brides!!! 😀
I’m so excited to get started on this wedding planning adventure! So I’ve been looking at potential sites around the Cape Cod area and I haven’t really found anything I love. My fiance and I really want a gorgeous, romantic/ethereal backdrop with lots of greenery and flowers, perhaps a garden/meadow area or I’m also open to a great view of the ocean. I’ve been searching high and low and all I’ve seen are hotels (which are a bit too commercial for my liking). We don’t mind an indoor wedding either, as long as we can take some great photos afterwards. Looking forward to hearing your ideas ladies!

OMG my oldest brother got married at the Chatham Bars Inn in August of 2001, it was the most breath taking garden/beach wedding we have ever been to – to this day. We’re all from Los Angeles and had never been to Cape Cod – WOWZA its a very special place.
I am not sure of your budget, and I could go on and on with nothing but positive things to say! They have lovely water front villas and OMG I could go on and on about it, haahaahaahaahaa
PS – hello and welcome to the hive, haahaahaa

Have you checked out The Wequassett? I’ve been to a couple of beautiful weddings there.

I went to a wedding at the Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee. Lovely.

Ballymeade I heard was beautiful!

I second the Wequasett! It’s gorgeous! Also, I have heard great things about the Brookside Club in Bourne, MA…

I do agree, Wequasett is gorgeous! However, after making a few calls…we realized that it is waaaaay out of our budget, too bad, it would be a beautiful place for a wedding!

I am having my reception at the Sea View in Dennisport ( I grew up in Dennis, and i am very partial to the Cape!)
Take a look at the Wequasett in is probably the biggest hidden jewel on cape cod, but is a bit pricey. Its absolutely breathtaking. Chatham Bars Inn comes a close second. There is also the Pomponessett Inn in Falmouth…beautiful! You can also be a little different and check out the new Truro Vineyards!
Good luck, i love the cape!
