I’m trying to find a photographer that does boudoir in St. Louis, MO or I’d be willing to travel a small distance.
Haven’t quite found anyone that meets my specs yet: Would rather not spend more than about $300 and would like rights to photos.

Ooo i don’t know about the $300. Everybody I talked to was $500 and up. I ended up at The Studio and it was like $700 but no photo rights. It came in a black book and everything. A lot of photographers don’t advertise that they do boudoir photos here…they aren’t as common in the midwest and they are actually kinda looked down upon by a lot of people!

So, I’ve been going through lists of photographers look at subpar portfolios…yeesh. I’d like to get those 2 hours of my life back.

I’m not sure you’re going to be able to find one that cheap and get the rights to the photos unless you go farther out into the countryish areas.

I’m usuing Molto Bella. They are located in Illinois, but travel to a lot of different places for their shoots. Plus, you can’t beat their price! Here is the website.

That is a really good deal! Especially the party rate! Now I just need to find a couple people to split it with! 🙂

Actually, if you contact them you could do one of their marathons. That’s what I’m doing. This is everything you get…
1.5 hour session
up to 4 outfit changes
Location of our choice
CD with all images
8×8 Little Black Book
Hair and make up done by professional
$300 (+ IL tax)
The value is ($450)
They did mention that they would be raising prices, but I think if you book by August, you might still be able to get it for $300. You can contact Stacy at [email protected] When I first contacted her, she still had August 21st (which is when I’m doing mine), October 2nd, and November 7th available.
Hope that helps! 🙂

I had our wedding photographer, Brigid Robeen from Wild Irish Rose Photography, do mine. I LOVED them! I think it was $100 for the one hour session plus $75 for the DVD of all the images. She had some fun, creative ideas, and I felt really comfortable during the session. I just did my own hair and makeup and did them at my house, then made a photobook on Blurb. They turned out GREAT!

Before my wedding ended up moving to SD, I was going to use Samantha Renn. She’s incredibly nice, and takes great pictures. I don’t know if she has a “boudoir” gallery on her webpage, but I know she advertises on facebook. You would probably need to email her to see additional samples. She’s under $300 and will periodically run specials.

You might check out http://www.bellevilleboudoirboutique.com – it’s not $300, but it’s pretty close.

I am also in the search for my boudoir photographer in the St. Louis area. My fave so far is http://www.blinkabella.com.
Her package is $300. This includes a disc with full rights on all of your pictures. They are Magazine-style edited. Unlimited outfit and background changes. 1.5-2 hours.
