I live in the Boston area but will be visiting family in the Lehigh Valley in July, and thought it would be great to take advantage of the opportunity to dress shop with my gram and aunt! I don’t know the are that well and since neither of them have gone dress shopping they wouldn’t have experience with it either.
So I’m looking for suggestions-I’m only looking to go to one or two, so hopefully you can suggest ones that are in close proximity. Also my budget is under $1,500 so I’m not looking for a high end boutique.
More specifically they live in Bethlehem and Allentown.
*I would have posted it in a PA forum but not sure what region these areas are considered.

Allentown/Bethlehem is known as the Lehigh Valley
I don’t know that there is much traffic on the local board for this town though. I tried looking on yelp and didn’t see many reviews other than Alfred Angelo but I’m sure there must be something!

I did a google search and came up with:
Sue Ames Bridal Outlet, 202 North 10th Street, Allentown, PA 18102 (610) 435-6500
There’s also a David’s Bridal and an Alfred Angelo.
Good luck and have fun shopping! 🙂

Thanks! I also found Bridals by Sandra but reviews were either very poor or very mixed, I will definitely look into the other two listed so thank you!

You could head down south a little to the Philadelphia area where there are a ton. Not sure if you are willing to go that far, but if pickings are slim up there it’s an option. We are getting married in Lehigh Valley but live closer to Philadelphia. I went to Van Cleve Wedding Pavilion in Paoli, PA and loved it.

I tried two places in the lehigh valley. I didn’t get my dress at either one (ended up getting one near my hometown). I can tell you about my experience at both…
Stephanie’s Bridal – Pennsburg: I really liked this place, the salon wasn’t fancy, but the dresses were reasonable and the women were very nice and helped me in and out of each dress.
All things bridal – Quakertown: I didn’t like this place at all. They were extreemly rude and didn’t even help me put the dresses on (seriously, it’s not easy to put a giant ball gown on yourself). Plus they had a lot of larger size dresses (my dress is an 8). There was one 6 and one 8 while I was there and everything else was much bigger. Maybe this wouldn’t have been so bad if they clipped the dresses to see how it might fit, but they didn’t. I was not impressed.
