I also went the jewelery and hair route, but didn’t think those truly counted as gifts because they were for my wedding, so i took to Coach’s outlet sales online or at their stores, tried to keep it between 100 and 150 per girl and got them each a large Coach bag. they are all the same in the fact that they are Coach and they are all the “large versions” however each bag is different in color and style to match the girls’ likes and personalities.  their bracelet, earrings, and maybe some cute flips will be in the bags when i give them to them.

At the moment I am giving them brazilian flipflops. I figure if Im gonna give them those I might as well give them the ‘Original” flip flop.

Thats all I have so far. Im still thinking though.

i got necklaces from Kevin N Anna…  kevinnanna.com  They have such unique pieces that have really great meaning.  I had found them when one of my brides maids and I had gone to the beach last summer and just thought they were perfect.  I contacted Anna, she even gave me a discount and free shipping because I wanted to order 4, I decided to also get one for my mom and future mother in law and picked special ones to match them.  They are elegant and beautiful. I am very happy, they are handmade and I really love them, I will get one for myself oneday 🙂

The girls are also staying at the B&B with us so they will not have to pay for that, so we are getting the rooms and the necklace and I also made them a custom hanger, used a woodburner and put their name and a ribon on it.  I am also thinking about getting those fold up flat shoes for the reception….. we will see, wedding is in a week 🙂

As a bridesmaid myself, I love the hair and nails route because I am in multiple wedding this year and all are demanding that I pay for hair, nails, AND make-up. But I think a neutral clutch or wristlet is nice. I am a purse queen, and use clutches and wristlets for going out on the town with my girls. Even better, if it is a neutral color it can double as a wedding day clutch for phones and such. Maybe you could turn them into Bridesmaid or Best Man survival kits with band aids, bobby pins, acetone pads, and a shout wipe or pen for accidental spills.

@alwayscurious:  girl, save the money and go to a craft store or Wal-Mart. Buy thick hangers and then find letter appliques in the scrapbooking section to personalize them. I have made a few of these hangers and sold them in my Etsy shop, and they can be a pain if you are scripting the names in wire. But if you want to try to make them, use the 12 gauge wire, or maybe 16. I have had the most success with those.
