@gelaine22: dont be mean
@Sleekviv: If you’re new to the country, maybe you can start by just making friends with people. Go out to local events. Find your niche, whether it be working out, gardening, watching movies. When you find others with your same interests, then it will be easier to make friends. After you make some friends, then you can worry about bridesmaids.

@tranquility: I was not being mean. I told her not to solicit for bridesmaids that she needs in 2 months. I did not put her down or anything. You are telling her to make friends but she has less than 2 months. Bridesmaids are not something that you NEED.

@Sleekviv: there is nowhere that says bridesmaids are a MUST at a wedding…. if you haven’t made friends, don’t have a bridal party. I don’t really think that trying to find random people on the internet is the best way to go. Your bridal party is supposed to be the people you are closest to, not people you hardly know who are there just to fill the space.

@Sleekviv: Do you not have friends from home coming to the wedding? Sorry to break it to you, but I’d be very surprised if someone agreed to be in your wedding party within a month of meeting you. Bridal parties are not a must.
