I need some help with tables at my reception. I’ve got the centerpieces picked out, and I know how I would like to do the place setting, but I’m at a loss for what color table cloth to get! I feel like if I go with white, then it will be too much white. Get ready for lots of picture!
Centerpieces, All in glass jars:
With some cadles like this:
and the place setting like this (will probably contain the menu rather than the persons name):
Also, at the main table and some of the side tables we will use “reusing” the bridesmaids bouquets:
And here’s a picture of the actualy reception site (please ignore the lack of awesomeness):
Past this, we don’t have a real color scheme. It’s going to be an outdoor ceremony, and the bridesmaids are wearing mismatched mint dresses while the groomsmen are wearing white button up shirts.
What do you guys think? I’m pretty stumped myself.
Our unofficcial motto is that we want our wedding to be “calming and classic yet playful and personal”

@MiraJo: I sure hope the groomsmen are also wearing pants!
What about mint, yellow and white? The yellow would pick up on the centers of the bridesmaids flowers and get away from that all white look.
It would also work well with the color of your chairs.
Yellow cloths are probably easier to find than mint. You could aslo do white cloths with alternating mint and yellow runners.
You could add some color to white naplins with a napkin ring or ribbon in yellow or mint.
You could even tuck a sprig of mint in the napkin ring for an amzing scent when you enter the room.
For more ideas go to http://www.theperfectpalette.com scroll down on the right, click on mint and see what palettes they have developed.

And that is a very nice color palette, I’m not completely sold on the yellow table coths though…. maybe a very pale yelloww… hmmm….
Although I do really want to steal those vases in the last pic

@MiraJo: i think you can choose many accent colours to go with mint. i like the yellow and mint that @julies1949: posted. light shades of blue go well with mint. i like warm shades so i would go with soft pinks or peaches, corals, melons.

@MiraJo: I was thinking a pale yellow with the soft mint would be perfect.

@MiraJo: yellow all the way!

@mypinkshoes: I do love the blush/mint… I think most of my girls though are pairing their dresses with gold accessories, so yellow might be easier to incorporate.
Idk, there’s asuch a stigma of yellow being a “ugly” wedding color, the idea is growing on me though
