Hi Bees- So I have tried on a few dresses now and my biggest thing is being comfortable. I want to feel good, relaxed, and comfortable on my wedding day. I do not want to be pulling my dress up and sucking in all night long. So far, I like strapless, fit and flare dresses. But, I tried on a empire waist (I think it’s called that) and it was really cute on me too. One designer I love is Allure. Here is a link to a dress I love, but I think it is going to be too heavy and will fall down all night. I am a size six and about 5’7” tall.

Any dresses or designers you have to recommend would be so greatly appreciated!!

I think at every wedding that I have ever been too I always saw the bride with strapless dress tugging and pulling it up all night long. In my sisters pics there’s a lot where she is in the background “tucking” her boobs back in. I decided to go with a strap for that reason. I don’t think wedding dresses are ever going to be comfortable unless you went with a light flowy empire dress.

This dress was one of my favorites and was very comfortable:
It’s got the fit & flare shape and is an allure. Link:

I think as long as it’s tailored correctly and not too heavy, any dress should be pretty comfy!

Also, when it comes to strapless dresses, they have to be tailored correctly and often having cups/a bra built in will help.
A lot of the slipping that happens with strapless dresses are because they aren’t exactly tailored to you and fabric of your bra is slippery against the lining of the dress.
