Hi there! I want to propose to my boyfriend and am doing the big ring hunt right now. We’re both university students and my budget is about $200-300.
I do know he likes gold and doesn’t want a jewel, so I was thinking I might find a fancy gold piece for the e-ring and that we could pair it with a simple skinny gold wedding band later if he wants.
I really liked these designs (below) by an Etsy seller named Seehara because while they’re detailed and beautiful, they’re also pretty heavy-looking and masculine/unisex.
My only issue is that some of the rings look a little… lumpy. I’m not sure if this is a big deal in terms of strength/longevity but I think I might be looking for something a little cleaner. I dig the old look but I want to look around a little since this is such a huge purchase and a ring with detail on all sides can’t really be corrected or resized later.
Do you or your partner have a patterned gold band? Do you know where I could find more rings like this? I don’t even know if there’s a name for this kind of style… I just typed in “gold ring” on Etsy and cliked on the ones I liked. 2 of the 3 rings pictured above have flowers on them but I don’t know if that makes them floral.
I’m new to Weddingbee (this is my first post!) so if this question has already been answered, I’m sorry for the repeat and would like to be directed to the proper posts. Thank you. :]
