Looking for DIY card box inspiration, pictures please

Hi everyone, awhile back I bought a prefab wedding card box, but I’m having second thoughts with two weeks to go before my wedding. I hope some weddingbees will share a few pictures of their homemade card boxes or ideas for making one.  Here’s a picture of my box, the size is 12×12. How large are most card boxes, is mine too large ? Thanks a lot.

AutumnFlower :  Hey bee, the box you have is pretty and is about the same size of the one at my aunt’s wedding last week. As for other ideas, just in case, you could use a basket lined with fabric or a bird cage. They can probably be found quickly at a local thrift store or antique shop.
