my favorite wine is not ice wine, but is a dessert wine and really sweet, you can find it for much less than $100. It is called moscato- and is delightfull! if it must specifically be ice wine though, i’m sorry to not be much help:)

MMmmmm I second the Moscato… it’s nice and sweet, and can almost be considered an "ice wine".

I haven’t had this particular ice wine, but my ILs were talking about how great it was when I saw them last.  It’s from a vineyard close to their house in Northern Michigan:

I have also done tastings at this vineyard and liked their wines, although I haven’t had this ice wine.

And my boss recommended this one:

I love Moscatos, but they vary in terms of quality and price.  Moscato is just a varietal like a riesling or a chardonnay and can be very expensive or inexpensive depending on the vintage.

I’m not sure I know what "ice wine" is … but this is my most favorite dessert wine: http://www.ponziwines.com/wines/dessert-wine.asp … I’ve visted their winery a few times and it’s all so so yummy. The wine is so sweet and scrumtious.

Shelburne Vineyard in VT makes very good ice wine for ~$25/bottle.  I don’t know how easy it is to find this wine outside Vermont, though…
