- Wedding: April 2013
I’m new to all this stuff, so I apologize if I make any faux pas. I recently got engaged and am now trying to put together ideas for a devout Luthern and Atheist wedding. My fiance is a Lutheran, strictly so, and his mother is a bit closed minded and very religious. I am strictly Atheist and my parents are United Methodist. I am pretty much the only one that does not accept a God.
So I am looking for any ideas or examples of what you may have done in your weddings to limit the use of God and religious things. I did find one blog where a couple had included a moment for silent prayer or well-wishing for the couple and I thought that was great! (Any ideas on how to word it would be great too!)
On another note, I am also a Kappa Delta, and he a Beta Sigma Psi, so anything to incorporate our houses would be appreciated as well! I have trouble finding info for him.
We are planning to have an outdoor wedding, tentatively in March or April 2013.
