I’ve coveted that exact peony graphic too!  I haven’t been able to find a vector of it.

I can vectorize the photo in Illustrator with Live Trace, but it doesn’t look exact.

Also with the engraving – you say you want it in one color.  In that photo, there is about 15-30 colors of pink and black making up the peony.  Your going to lose the dimension of the photo.

If you want me to vectorize the photo, or tell you how…. I can.

That image is a raster – so its made up of pixels.  It can only be a certain size before it is pixellated.

Vectors are used with Adobe Illustrator, it’s images made up of lines instead of pixels, so they can be made any size.

Hey are you going to print these yourself?  I can try to make the vector image or just make the image in a .jpg or tiff format for you?   You want it blue?  What kind of blue?  (or give me a CMYK blue value)

Ahh I should have tried before I spoke.  I can’t get it o be blue in Photoshop or Illustrator – there is actually over 60 pinks in that image, and although the images you posted show it as one pink – I can’t use those images to make up the vector.

I have an image that is the image you posted with the background and text removed.  It could work on an invite.  If you want it, let me know.
