If you love it, go for it but it's not really something I would choose

    Ugly, would never choose it

    Looks costumey

I LOVE vintage and Art Deco rings!

purple_crack:  I almost got that exact ring! Or she has a bigger or smaller version, I can’t remember. I think it’s beeeeautiful! It’s a lot of bling and if it’s your thing, go for it! I opted for a vintage look, too.

purple_crack:  Hey, it probably makes it extra special that you can’t find anyone that owns that ring! But I have no shame so I wouldn’t mind at all asking some Instagram person what they think of the quality, etc, I’d message them! It’s worth the wait if you fine something you love! STILL love that ring!!

Totally love the ring– I have an Art Deco inspired ring, too (see my avatar). But to me, this ring looks more like a cocktail ring or RHR than an e-ring. Just one gal’s opinion…

purple_crack:  Ha! I almost got that exact ring as well! Except in the petite, because hey-oh 3.5 sized baby-fingers here. In the end, even the petite seemed like there would just be too much going on. I ended up going with another Etsy seller, and I’m absolutely in love with my ring and it fits my hand size perfectly.

All that to say, I adore your choice. It has a good amount of modern and vintage mixed together, so I have no doubt it will have longevity of style. Plus, it’s incredibly unique. Looks a lot less costume-y than some of the rings I’ve seen around. Good choice, lady!

I love that you are thinking of choosing something different! I am still figuring out what I love for an engagement ring and I have gotten so tired of the same cookie cutter style rings. Art Deco is not my style but I feel that you should go for something that fits your style!! After all it’s on your finger right?! Go for it!!!

purple_crack:  Larger hands can very much be a blessing! You get to enjoy all the fun details with your ring.

I went through MinimalVS, and the same group of designers also owns Capucinne. Fiance had awonderful experience with them, and the ring arrived in perfect condition. The diamond is drop dead gorgeous too, which I actually wasn’t expecting. Pictures don’t do their work justice.

I actually looked at a lot of Studio1040’s rings! In the end, I felt as though they didn’t quite have what I was looking for, almost but no cigar. I also really liked the Mosaic Grande ring will milgrain from RosadosBox (was that the octagon one you referred to?), but decided circle-ish shapes weren’t for me. We have a lot of the same tastes it seems!

I have a vintage 1940s green diamond surrounded by diamonds in platinum setting. I say go for it!

purple_crack:  thank You! I really love diamonds especially ovals! They make me swoon everytime I see one. I love that they are a more unusual shape and I have really long fingers so it fits them really well. Still can’t decide on a setting. Thank you so much for the suggestions!
