So, I am madly in love with all things Watters. The salon that carries the line closest to me is pretty small and didn’t have many samples. It costs $100 to get a dress shipped to the store to try (luckily they’ll credit it to me IF I make a purchase there), and of course I want to try on more than a few of them. So far I know for sure that I want to bring in Lasara, but otherwise I would LOVE your help in narrowing down my options by seeing some pictures on real brides.
Mildura, Carmel, Gobi, Mojave, Tyler, Style 1079B, Malibu, and Santa Barbara are the dresses I’m most interested in.
Thanks in advance!!

I’m a Watters bride! My dress is actually WTOO (their less expensive line) – I initally completely fell in love with Watters, and was shocked when I tried mine on because it was one third of my dress budget but felt like a high end gown! Ahhh I love Watters! Here’s mine!
ETA: By The Way I just looked at your favorites, and all the dresses you mentioned are EXACTLY what I loved about Watters and totally the style I planned on getting – they have such beautiful A-line, flowy dresses. I was shocked when I fell in love with this one which was more fitted – I actually had to walk away for a month because I was so confused….in the end, this ended up being the one for me, though. Have you tried any of those dresses on yet? I love so many of them!

Watters “Austin” was my reception dress! So light and fun to dance in!

I love Watters dresses too! My faves that I tried on were Pasadena and Napa. No pics since the store didn’t allow it

Angarrett – that is beautiful! I actually do like a couple of the Wtoo gowns (Delphine and Desdemona specifically) but the salon I went to didn’t have any and I forgot to ask if they can get any in. I did try on a fit and flare by another designer and I did like it – but I think in the end both me and my Mom thought that the A-line style was more “me.”
Jess – I tried on the Beverly Hills (I meant that dress my original post, not Santa Barbara) and the Malibu once each. I LOVED the first one when I found the right belt to pair with it. As for the Malibu, I did love the dress (and how small my waist looked in it!), but I think I might like the more delicate detailing of the Lasara better.

Oh, darnit!! I might have to put Austin back on the list. I saw a post where a bride said it wasn’t “flattering” but it looked amazing on you so clearly I shouldn’t believe everything I read. ๐

Thanks Ladies ๐
@ckow85: I think the original flowered sash that comes with the Austin can be a bit unflattering as it adds a lot of bulk to the waist. That’s why I opted for a beaded sash instead.

Mine is a Wtoo as well, but I love all things Watters so I’ll join if that’s ok! ๐

I wanted the Watters Devenport soooo bad but I couldn’t afford her. ๐ The materials used in Watters gowns are much more luxurious that any other gown I have tried on. (and I tried on a lot!) I hope more people post pics here.
Here’s the one I tried on. (way too small but I fell in love) *sniff*

When I wanted to see brides in certain dresses, I went to the preowned websites. People selling their dresses usually post wedding pictures. ๐

I’m a Watters Tyler gal! Here are some pics of me in the sample. I just went for my first fitting a few weeks ago and love it even more!
