Hey! We are getting married on the same day.  I am getting married in Belmar and am also still looking for a bakery!  I have heard not so good things about ‘Piece of Cake’ and ‘Caputo’s’ but haven’t been able to find someplace that people like!  I heard ‘Baker Boys’ is great but i heard they don’t routinely do wedding cakes…

MrsMosses, we are having the wedding at The Barclay. How about you?  Let us know how it goes at Palermo’s!

I’m also thinking about Pink Cake Box.  I emailed her an inquiry and she got back to me pretty quickly.  The delivery is a little high ($275 to Spring Lake), but there aren’t any bakeries in this area that do work on her level, and her flavor options look yummy (not your typical chocolate mousse and raspberry filling sort of place).

If you are crafty and think you may have the time, I have found gum paste flowers on the Internet that can be added to an undecorated cake.  The cost would be significantly less, and they look so real!

 Good Luck!
