Hmm. I looked. I really did. But with criteria like that, it sounds like you’ve found your dress! You can always alter the neckline, and they may even be able to take out the flowers that you’re not crazy about. It looks stunning on you- is it in the budget?

How about Casablanca 1992? Similar silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and no 3D flowers.

There are also several used ones for saleon powd.com. Here’s one on a real person:

There are two Enzoani Blue dresses that remind me of your dress. The Darwin and the Dalby.  Both run a little over $1000 but not by much.  Both are sweatheart neckline, suft tulle skirt, drop waist and lace on the bottom.

I couldn’t tell you from the model. It looks great on you. I hope you find the perfect dress.

@efitzger: Pretty dresses!

@mrstj2b: Just beware that Watters, Private Label by G and Demetrios will be over $1000. Also I forgot to mention in my last post, the type you’re looking for “dress that is fitted throughout the bodice and the skirt starts right at the hips” is called a dropped waist. Dresses like the Impressions, Forever Yours and Mori Lee where the skirt starts flaring at the waist are called natural waist. The really full skirts are ballgowns and the the somewhat less full skirts are a-line. Good luck with your search! I also love the dress you originally posted.

I know Maggie Sottero dresses range from about $700-1500, and I’m not sure where in that range these two dresses fall, but they seem like they could be good options:

Maggie Sottero Belinda and Claudette are beautiful. I might have to look at them myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

@mrstj2b: Yeah that’s definitely a dropped waist. Your post hit a spot with me because I looked for a dress with similar specifications for so long (fitted top, dropped waist, big lace skirt). Even with a bigger budget I couldn’t find anything I loved, but I was being way to picky…The a-line vs ballgown distinction doesn’t really matter as long as the wearer feels good in the dress ๐Ÿ™‚ I think you look very pretty with the skirt poofed out. I finally bought a lace a-line but wore a big petticoat underneath to make it as full as possible.

Some people also called fit&flare dresses dropped waist, although those are fitted through the hips and flare through the thighs. Through my indecision I ended up with one of those as well ๐Ÿ˜›

I am a big fan of tulle and lace applique dresses. Who knew? All these dresses are so beautiful!
