MemberIt’s very important to have measurements and to fit the dress properly. I think the best way to get your dress made would be by a local seamstress. This way you can choose the fabric and oversee the whole process. If the price of dress making is too much then look for a ready made dress off the rack (Macy’s , Lord&Taylor) I don’t think that buying a dress off a replica site is a good idea. You don’t have much time to play around.
MemberIs there an established theater group nearby? If there is, I would approach their wardrobe staff, since they may have the skills need to work a dress from scratch, or put you in contact with someone who does.
