My Fiance and I are having a high tea themed reception and I am looking all over for cheap tea cups and saucers, my goal is 100. To include for decor and holding favors. I am hoping that if I post this that someone might be able to lead me to some great deals or ideas for decor for our afternoon tea! 🙂

Wilson2Bee: I collect cups and saucers. I have great luck at antique stores. Some beautiful ones can be cheap like $5/set if maker isn’t a concern.

Check thrift stores. St Vincent De Paul, Goodwill, etc. They usually have stuff like that for cheap (a cup and matching saucer for like 60 cents.) We did teacups like that for a friends bridal shower and that’s where we collected them from.

Check out estate sales, antique stores, yard sales, and thrift stores. I’ve gotten some beautiful saucers and teacups from these places. 🙂

Sweetescape1976: ooooooh thank you! Those are actually cheaper than buying them second hand where I come from!
springbride23: a maker doesn’t matter, I’m just looking for a floral spring design to match our theme! Most of the sets I’ve been finding are 10 bucks but I think I would like to stick to 5!
amberback: we did our rounds last weekend to local goodwills, I guess it’s something you have to keep checking!

Wilson2Bee: I have probably 15 sets I would be willing to get rid of for a low cost + shipping. I usually sell them at craft fairs.

Goodwill, value village etc are my usual go tos. Check for estate sales and garage sales as well.
